Team WND win gold at the International Stevie awards

Aug 15, 2016

There has already been a steady stream of medals for Team GB at the Olympics but it seems they aren’t the only ones on a winning streak. We are thrilled to announce that ‘Team WND’ have won gold at the International Stevie Awards just weeks after being announced as finalists in The National Business Awards and Retail Week Supply Chain Awards.

The International Stevie Awards, formally known as the International Business Awards, are the world's premier business awards. They were created in 2002 to honour and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organisations and working professionals worldwide. Stevie Award judges include many of the world's most respected executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, and business educators. Winners of the 2016 awards were determined through more than two months of judging.

This week we were named as a ‘Gold’ Stevie winner in the ‘Best New Product or Service of the Year: Software - Supply Chain Management Solution’ category. The award was won on the merit of our game changing innovation ‘wnControlTower’ with the judges praising wnDirect saying “Your contribution to eCommerce is truly impressive”.

wnControlTower, which was launched earlier this year, is described as ‘air traffic control for parcels’. It is an innovative and unique system providing retailers with complete parcel visibility and a 360 degree view of their delivery network. More information about wnControlTower can be found here

Ed Turner, CIO at wnDirect commented “We are thrilled to have won gold at the International Stevie’s and that the benefits of our newest innovation wnControlTower have been recognised. Our retailer partners who have trialled wnControlTower are very excited about what it can do for their business and we are looking forward to welcoming more retailers on board to take advantage of this valuable system”.

The International Stevie Awards will be presented during a gala event in Rome, Italy on the 21st October.
