That’s a Wrap!

You may have read in previous years that we are proud to support Wrap Up London, helping to collect coats for the homeless each winter, and this year is no different.
From 23rd October to 15th November, both Asendia UK & wnDirect collected coats donated by our new, larger employee base.
Wrap Up began in London when the charity asked members of the public to give their old coats new life by donating them to those who need them in London tube stations. In recent years, Wrap Up have expanded to Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and this year, Uxbridge – and if you aren’t in the area, you can also download a Collect+ label and send your coats into the charity via their network.
The coats are then distributed directly to those most in need, who struggle to keep warm during the winter months. The donated coats are distributed via homeless shelters, refugee centres, elderly organisations, women’s refuges, children’s centres and various other charities.
This year, we collected 6 large sacks of coats from our employees which will be distributed throughout the UK, to those who need them most!
We love being able to help this charity, and as always, we are immensely proud and thankful to all of our staff who donated or helped with the collection this year.
