WNDIRECT CROWNED WINNER OF THE ‘BUSINESS ENABLER OF THE YEAR’ AWARD AT THE 2016 NATIONAL BUSINESS AWARDS

Last night (15th November 2016), we were crowned winner of the ‘Vonage Business Enabler of the Year’ award at the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards 2016. The award was presented to the wnDirect team at the National Business Awards black tie gala event at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. It is the second time that we have been recognised by these prestigious awards having been crowned winner of the ‘New Business of the Year’ award in 2013.

The Lloyds Bank National Business Awards, now in their fifteenth year and described as “the Oscars of Great British business” by former Prime Minister David Cameron, recognise and reward excellence across all sectors in the UK. The Vonage Business Enabler of the Year award celebrates organisations that help businesses to increase profitability by improving efficiency, developing talent and implementing innovation, recognising the impact of ‘enablers’ that offer value beyond support products and services.

Entrants for the National Business Awards were subject to a rigorous judging process. The finalists were chosen from the hundreds of businesses that entered or were nominated across 18 award categories and in September we were invited to attend a live face to face presentation to an expert judging panel for the final assessment.

The judges commented “wnDirect handles international logistics for ecommerce companies of all sizes, allowing British companies to scale their operations with ease and create borderless retail offerings... The impressive offering on show from wnDirect, and all finalists supporting global and UK businesses, shows the strength of the UK economy.”
