As you know, this year we chose to support the fabulous annual charity coat collection Wrap Up London again by collecting old and used coats for those most likely to struggle to keep warm during the winter months.

We teamed up with Collect+ to offer the use of our returns portal so that people who weren't able to deliver a coat to a specified collection point in London, could do so using our logistics network, thus enabling donations to be collected from all across the UK.

This year Wrap Up London set themselves the target of collecting 15,000 unwanted, old and used coats during the campaign which ran from 7th - 18th November. We are absolutely thrilled that the hardworking folk at Wrap Up London have announced that they smashed their target and collected a staggering 22,518 coats this year! 1208 of which were collected by ourselves and Collect+. We would like to say a big thank you to Europa who kindly joined in and helped us by offering free collections of the coats for Wrap Up London.

The donated coats are currently being distributed to those in need via homeless shelters, refugee centres, elderly organisations, women’s refuges, children’s centres and various other charities.

It is absolutely fantastic that so many thoughtful people have joined in and made the effort to donate this year. A small, simple act of kindness that will make such a huge difference to those most likely to struggle to keep warm this winter. We were honoured to be involved and so pleased that we helped Wrap Up London exceed its target. It is such a great achievement and has made all of us here at wnDirect feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
